From my jokey greeting of "Broadsword to Danny Boy", Mark's authentic visual intro to the game, the ropey intelligence, the air of confusion (the Bothy being a case in point and one which almost gave the game to the ASU), to the tense finale, it ran like a grey cortina fuelled by melted Clash singles. At one point it did indeed look bad for Callsign Badger but in one of those incredible moments, suddenly all the tangos visible were either pinned, ducking or down and Team One was off and running for the dead ground at the side of the farmhouse - and I just knew that if they got there, it was flashbangs all the way to tea and medals. Mark did miss a few choice moments:

the armalite is thrown down the stairs, Mac calls out "and the other one" and two more clatter down, followed by a flashbang going in the opposite direction

Mac, again, shouting "how many in the bothy? how many in the bothy?" at the first prisoner

and finally, paranoid and expecting more trouble, me asking Mark if the sniper op could identify "the red thing at the end of the lane" and Mark silently holding up a red D6.

Cheers!

Maff aka Badger OneMaster Chefnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4690131777600341387.post-76772931119301923902011-06-14T13:31:11.577+01:002011-06-14T13:31:11.577+01:00Thanks Dr V. The close-ups in particular are bleached by the flash. Think I need to reset the camera to default factory settings.

Cheers
MarkMarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13835446049246785287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4690131777600341387.post-28427613581900050042011-06-14T00:57:03.855+01:002011-06-14T00:57:03.855+01:00Good yarn - would it be possible to see the pictur...Good yarn - would it be possible to see the pictures a little bigger?Conrad Kinchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15683395740934527502noreply@blogger.com
