Ah it's upside down. The texturing looks fine to me. Colours don't work though. I'll undercoat white and use the Woodlands Scenics Earth Undercoat Pigment (same as the Paras base), then progressively drybrush in 'straw' colours.

DAS Clay Haybale
This is a texture/colour test of one of the DAS Clay haybales I sculpted earlier in the week.
Ah it's upside down. The texturing looks fine to me. Colours don't work though. I'll undercoat white and use the Woodlands Scenics Earth Undercoat Pigment (same as the Paras base), then progressively drybrush in 'straw' colours.

You know what? In daylight it's a bit pants but under artificial light which is how 90% of the games will be played, the contrast works really well.
