Oxford Diecasts

Some Oxford Diecasts I picked up a while ago but haven't had much of a chance to look at yet. I imagine them as the sort of CD vehicle that would be seen duringa national emergency.
The figure shown for scale is an Eureka 20mm Brit.

  1. Very nice. Absolutely spot on too. You know, I'd passed up that CD Land Rover but it's perfect of course. This is the age of Civil Defence.

  2. Man those last two pics really take me back. I remember those Green Goddesses on the streets during the 77-78 Firemen's strike.

    Imagine you're a seven year old boy. Fire-engines are cool. The Army is cool. So just think how awesome army fire-engines would be. :-)

  3. Oxford 1:72 models are very nice. I use the for WWII wargaming, including my RAF airfield.
