ReplyDeleteThin Lizzy ........... The greatest rock band ever!!
ReplyDeleteThin Lizzy were simply the greatest rock band ever.
ReplyDeleteEven a hardened Welshman like myself has to say - Thin Lizzy not Max. Everytime.
ReplyDeleteOf course, some of Max's songs need rewriting for Winter of 79 - "Duw, it's HE" and "The Pit Head Baths are a small arms factory now" spring to my twisted mind.
Just keep Frank Hennessy out of it, please. In fact, speaking as Headshed of the Free Taffs, he's in "protective custody".

Maff
LOL. Remember Maff it's TOTP not NME. This was the era that comedy or slightly off-centre songs could easily reach No.1.
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah.... Thin Lizzy Whisky in The Jar...o
