Snow was falling over the trenches of the East Lothian front. One one side the miners and part time soldiers of 15 Para and on the other the Scots Guards and special patrol group. The shooting dies away apart from the odd flare. Coming out of the snow there is the sound of the pipes, amazing grace!. It must be the Royal Scot Dragoon guards. Suddenly there is the sound of tank engines. Merry Xmas
